ZPDP

The lives and prospects of Zimbabwe’s youth today should be a scar on the conscience of our country’s current political leadership.  The future of our young people has been completely ruined by the ruling ZANU PF party and government.  Our youth have been reduced to tools of violence and objects of ridicule even from peace loving Zimbabweans.

Innocent boys and girls full of life and potential are being herded away into poorly equipped, badly sanitised and dilapidated compounds, which ZANU PF calls Youth Camps.  These supposed 'institutions' such as the so-called “Border Gezi Training Camp” are in fact purposeless ZANU PF ventures and centres for brainwashing Zimbabwe's boys and girls.   They are used to indoctrinate them with venomous and destructive propaganda that distorts Zimbabwe’s precious history of liberation, while deflecting attention from the inept incompetence of the ZANU PF government.

Our youth are being made to believe that the ruling ZANU PF party and its government are doing all that they can to develop our country and to ‘defend’ our sovereignty from imagined and hypothetical enemies that are a concoction of paranoid ideologues. Yet these ideologues are the same people who have ruined the lives and prospects of the most promising and essential fabric of our nation – our youth.
